In the old days, SF members would stack Shoemart coupon codes and be paid a crisp $5 to wear AE seconds.

So, you would get a free pair of shoes welted 360 degrees, and also lunch money.

now that I realized you were saying double entendre and figured out what you were referring to, I'm totally taking credit for that being intentional.

I don't mind at all, and you could be right and FWIW the shirt is discreetly patterned (Herringbone), I had kind of DTO'd the basic colour scheme off this (minus the coat and scarf). I do have a nice cashmere light grey Dunhill tie in storage that might have added some nice texture to it but as I am in the midst of launching my own label I'm really trying not to wear non Henry Carter Ties if I can avoid it.

Admittedly, my own wardrobe is much smaller than yours. That's ok-quality over quantity (money's a problem, too). I wear the Italian stuff, with sleek lasts and thick, supple leather.

Most of your shoes I drool over, and would love to have. I'm not insulting your wardrobe as a whole or your discernment in general, I was just saying that those RL shoes were uncharacteristic of the Spoo we all know and love and admire. I'm not a fan of the goodyear construction, and the leather on those RLs looks kind of one-dimensional and synthetic.

Are you telling me that they are your most favoritist shoeses? [IMG]

It was a serious, constructive bit of trolling, meant to spark a conversation about AE.

I was kind of expecting a response like Kobalto gave...

then I would ask how much they cost... and they'd probably be 2-5 times as expensive.

Regarding the Lindrick. I think it's awesome. I have the AE Dalton, and it reminds me of a Cordovan version :slayer:.

CDHagg isn't trolling... he's just genuinely that stupid.
