i am utterly bored with my outfits
new ike behar shirt.. thought it was going to be a wider spread, not a forward point collar
and i think the collar points don't like to stay down .. will try wearing them with the magnetic collar stays next time

so i am not sure what to get as my next suit
pinstripe? another glen plaid? some other pattern? keeping my options open but leaning toward a pinstripe

Only when I clicked the picture did I see the windowpane pattern. Immensely impressed.

Before moving on to more suits, why not get some made-to-measure shirts so that you have exactly what you want? Your posts suggest you are generally unhappy with the shirts in your closet, so spending the $6-700 you've indicated as reasonable for a suit on 5 or 6 shirts might yield a bit more satisfaction for you. Just one man's opinion...

I actually second this and also say add in sportcoats. You can add alot of color and variety with sportcoats. I have enjoyed dressing alot more after I added them to my wardrobe. Also, you can find some amazing jackets from quality makers for great prices

very true, especially when you're not in the "I need to find X" mindset. I find the best shit exactly when I'm NOT looking for it. Have been collecting more SCs for the past few months and have scored a few nice ones totally out of the blue. The last purchase should be here sometime this week (I hope)... still getting altered a bit.

SoS, that jacket fits you great. Did you go to a local tailor?

Brown shoes. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the suit fabric is.
