1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Sir F, you must drive the grand prix course in the 458 and post an onboard video. Get your girlfriend to hold the camera while you drive. It will be a good test of her abilities with the iPhone, and it will help you decide whether she should move in with you to become the Official Sir F Photographer.

Well, when I say "must" I mean that I'd like you to...

Isaac Asimov made a strong case against this, claiming the situation impossible. I would agree with his explanation.

What would I do without dick and fart jokes? Makes life so good. I wonder at what income, or level of wealth I would have to reach before I no longer found them funny? I don't want to think about it too hard.

Mrs. Trix has a convertible that she enjoys driving with the top down at every opportunity (that's the car's top, not her top; though, come to think of it, I never asked her about that). Am I correct that you would not recommend that she trade for a minivan? How about a minivan that has a sun roof?

The good news is that their nadir of popularity probably lies somewhere near your income and level of wealth, so if you go either way, you're bound to enjoy them even more.

    So, it's win-win.

Foo makes the fallacy of believing that he is capable of thinking objectively.

I had something for "he's a total stiff." Which led to something about "stand up straight." So naturally I think I'll go with JFK Jr. standing up straight to salute.

He's not saying that. He's saying that such opinions are inherently subjective, but if he hectors everyone into agreeing with him (or to give up arguing), the concurrence of subjectivity makes the opinion practically objective.

    Think Ptolomaic System.

Did Asimov meet :foo: and o/o? Methinks he needed to expand his sample...

Above notwithstanding, I agree with pretty much every critique Foo has levied over the past several pages.

Well, I have been on a mini vacation, so sorry I haven't commented. Seems to be an interesting day here though. Only post from me this week. I took the week off work to study and take my comprehensive exams for my Ph.D. program so I will be scrubbing it up in coffee shops the rest of the week in jeans and tees. Letting this jacket out a bit in the waist next week as I feel it accentuates my hips by being so tight in the middle.

Also included a quick fit pic of the caruso light grey suit I got from ehaberdasher. Wanted opinions before I dropped it off to my tailor but the quality is amazing an the fabric feels absolutely liquid compared to any other wool I have touched.
