1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was fully prepared to take a load of isht about the boots, though not necessarily expecting it from you - an honest opinion, at least.

    yep, that's indeed irritating.

they are outstandingly nice. what leather are they made of? it's hard to judge from this picture. can you do a close up?

If I haven't paid aeglus for his leaning-on-the-rail pose, what makes you think I'm going to pay you? [IMG]

I Crusty - Im feeeeeeeling the cowboy boots!! To all those who commented today, thanks. The tie is a Charvet, purchased at the Vendome boutique in Paris. .

Thank you, Spoo, for confirming my Charvet sensor [IMG] . As per your request, fritzl, a close-up of the boots. The are ostrich leg vamps, and the brand is Star Boots. I photographed them with jeans and with a suit, just for contrast - the suited close up shot was clearer. [IMG]

Same trousers as above, with more conventional footwear (though loafers with a suit is a no-no for many of you).

Ah, well, when is it that I do anything entirely according to plan?

FWIW, and have at it, then iGents,

Not at all, must be the photo/lighting. They are only about a year old.

Very nice, I like the lapels on the coat. What is the tie made from? Almost looks like linen, but I like it a lot.
