This is just about exactly what I meant. The deep plunge serves to accentuate the length of Bernoulli's torso and exposes more of the vest (looks like almost three buttons) than I think would be optimal for a man of his height. As it is, the whole effect of the jackets v is rather reminiscent of Fabio to me. With the pants sitting low like they are (obviously needing to be hiked a touch), and even with the buttons so close together, thefirst button is sitting at right about his midpoint. If the buttoning point were 1-2inches higher (and appropriately spaced) it looks like the buttons would frame his midsection about right, and sit at the upper half of the distance between the middle and second-to-top button on the vest. This still seems a bit exposed to me, but not overwhelmingly so as it is currently. Even then, I think the configuration might have worked better as a one button. Fred has posted today a good example of what I think this would look like.
Haven't posted in here for a while but I'm going to try and take more photos to get some opinions on my outfits. I decided to be pretty dull with my dressing today as my new coat was probably the focus point. (Yes, I know its probably wrong to wear a trench in winter, but it really is very mild and its new and I wanted to wear it ha)
I apologise for the quality of the photos, my digital camera isn't really that great and I'm far too embarrassed to get other people to take the photos and it was dark....
Coat : Burberry London
Suit: Hugo Boss

Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
I need a better picture of this.
Got packages from Swedish Nahbob (Norfolk jacket and chambray shirt) and Malford of London (cashmere bow tie) today.
Yep, I need to clean up my work space
Bonus pic of puppies:
Off to Vegas.
Do they wear ties in Vegas?
I am pretty sure you need a string tie or maybe that is Reno?
I see the forum layout changed yet again... Now I don't remember the last pages I read 3 weeks ago.
A very colorful evening.
I'll try and get one for you tomorrow, along with the next set of terrible pictures of my outfit in my dimly lit messy room haha. It's a great watch, my first automatic so I was excited about it. It only cost £125! (John Lewis discount as I work for Waitrose - part time of course while I finish my studies) and is Swiss made and just is an all round excellent watch. I would definitely recommend the brand!
Looking smart. Trousers could use a press when you have a chance, I think.
Shirt and tie are obviously nice. Jacket is interesting, and I think has a lot of potential to integrate into some good looks. A bit too tricky to use for me I think, but knowing your style, I suspect it will fit nicely into your wardrobe.
Today's look was inspired by the idle thought while I was getting dressed: "Is it possible to combine green & purple in a way that doesn't look like you stole from the Joker?" Not sure I actually managed it, but it's a interesting challenge to try to avoid that automatic association.
Good attempt Holdfast, but maybe not as strong as you're other outfits. Somethings not quite right maybe it is the colours, the outfit just seems to be lacking a certain "pop", maybe that could be added with the pocket square?
I wore the same tie today, only mine is Drake's. Looks great.
Great looking suit, olddog.
This must be NSM jacket?
Rob, suit looks good although a bit short for my taste. Non-alden shoes look good, for once.
Great, Fred ! Are you the Godfather ? The Sopranos ?
The Godfather yes, the Sopranos no.
Separate names with a comma.
