Excellent look, Cravate. Have you had the waist suppressed a bit more?
Very nice Cravate! That's how a bespoke suit should fit.
The major motivating factor for today's ensemble - it's COLD in NYC.
Suit, shirt, and tie - BB (suit is BBGF)
Cufflinks - Sackler Galleries, Smithsonian Museum
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - some long-gone shop in Beauchamp Place, London
Hat - Century 21
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
^ Dunno about the hat. Look like it just landed there!
Exactly. CN rarely puts a foot wrong.
Bitter cold today.
Somebody needs to burn Cravate_Noire's florentine suit vest or else I am going to do it.
I think you mean Denny Colt.
Great suit, tie, shoes and scarf (but maybe cut the tag on it?)
Thanks. I must admit that neither chain nor watch are anything special. Chain is brass, watch is a mass-produced one from (I'm guessing) the 40s or 50s for the former Bombay Baroda Railway, bought off eBay. I kind of like the unremarkable/knockabout nature of it, to be honest. I'll try to remember to take a pic next time I wear it.
sugarbutch asked re: this look: "A bit of askew-tie sprezz? ;-)" I can assure you that the askew tie was entirely accidental and corrected later in the day when I glanced at a mirror and noticed it. I just can't do sprezz; it's against my nature!
Added a tan raincoat and brown felt trilby to today's look to cope with the occasional drizzle...
deets on tie please.
i really like the get up, except the leather coat seems a bit big on you, maybe just because its open. mostly though i was surprised when i saw it on you, did a double take. it doesnt strike me as your style. but if you like it, go ahead and rock on son.
