I've long been under the impression that long and lanky fellas, such as myself and TKE (above), are better served by 2-button jackets than by 3Bs. However, TKE's 3B jacket seems to be doing quite a lot to help even out his proportions. At 6'-1" and 180 lbs, should I be rethinking my commitment to 2B jackets?

Tell us about the occasion for which you are duded up. I'm hoping that you're going to an event where all the other guys are in white tie or formal military dress.

I think he said he was on his way to Applebee's.

If you refuse to make sweeping generalizations and universal pronouncements, you will never succeed at this internet thing.

Truth. Truth.

PS- I'm curious what you wore on NYE.

About 11PM (bad cell phone pic, but you get the idea):

About 12:40AM:

I wore this Steed tuxedo:

I note what others wore here.

There was a society photographer about, so I might have some better photographs in a day or two. They took a lot of photos of us.

I also used to keep a society photographer (or two, I dont remember how many it were), but then came the crisis.

No, actually, i really don't.

Really? I see glasses being clinked in the background, Vox clutching a woman (presumably his missus), a bow tie, and lots of motion blur. Seems like a party to me...

your body is not proportioned like TKE's
so whatever seems to work for him in that picture... will not necessarily work for you
