Here's a fit pic of my uncle today on Easter Sunday. The suit is a cotton-linen blend, and the tie is silk. The tie is almost the same color as the suit, but it has a little gold in it and it is a different texture than the suit. I told my uncle that he should wear a solid dark navy or dark forest green knit tie instead of a silk tie the same color as the suit, but he disagrees. I'm still at my uncle's house, and we want to settle this today... Whaddaya think guys? [IMG]

The outfit with the crazy white plaid gucci suitcoat wasn't too bad. Quite successful actually.

The coat is quite lovely. Your choice of tie and PS really brighten it up. True, it doesn't have an hourglass silhouette, but it looks sleek on you. Nice shoulders and length. Unbuttoned, it would look snazzy. "Quite columnar" sounds like something out of W.S. Gilbert! :)

I'd be curious to see it paired with darker trousers. Still a thumbs up.

Go eat a deviled egg and pretend you never told your uncle you belong to a men's clothing forum.

Those look like navy slim cargo pants from Closed. You can get them on Park and Bond. I had a pair and wore them into the ground. I think it's a great look.

This is awesome for LA! Catching the last bits of cold weather, aren't you? Maybe I'll bump into you one day, it wouldn't be hard to recognize you. :slayer:

It was all in good humor. No awkwardness, I promise.

    Happy Easter everybody.

Good fit from you. You need shirts with longer collars, so that the points rest under the jacket.

That´s a pretty big collar there. I understand it would look better with the points under the jacket, but much longer and they´d look awful, I think.

I really think your fits would with higher rise trousers. Not highwaters, but not these super low rise cuts that sit on your hip bones.

Sorry for the poor quality photo.
I realize this look is somewhat casual and perhaps a little out of place within this thread. I have a pretty athletic build (not large, more so because of a large drop); finding jackets that fit correctly is a challenge for me.

Happy Easter (I celebrate Passover) figured I'd try to look as Waspy as possible today.
