1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Thank you for your valued critique.

    Yes, it is always good to see some Aussies on here, it means the mass of terrible "low crotch wu-tang denim" is not winning :)
    Regarding the tie, I think this may be the cameras fault. It is gold IRL. I blame the phone camera...
    The collar I noticed myself as I was taking the photo, but was unsure. It's good to see my suspicions confirmed (though on all my nicest shirts :fu: )
    Finally, the shoes. They do look square in the photo don't they? I think that may be the angle of the photo :paranoia:
    This is the closest looking one that I found on the net:
    [IMG]

    I learnt my lesson with my last pair of black shoes:
    square = bad;
    pointy & skyward = looking like cowboy / witch;
    round / chiselled = classically cool;

    Lessons learnt:
    • Go for a spread collar next time I order shirts
    • Get a proper camera so I can post better photos :)

    As always, I enjoy reading fit critiques & learning, so please keep it coming.

    -T

    You, TB, and others have noticed this and I just started to notice it myself. Boy the things you ignore when you don't take pictures everyday. I admit, some of my pants are a bit too tight. However, I have a really hard time finding pants. My waist is 32.5 but my seat fits well in 34s. My thighs also fit better. So I usually have to size up in most trousers. Most of my cotton pants are old and I need to get bigger sizes in them. When I size up. especially in cotton pants, they tend to be too baggy in the knees on down and I can't afford to have all my casual pants tapered. Does anyone have some suggestions for pants that I can size up in on the waist but not sacrifice a slim leg? I wear howard yount trousers mostly and some BB milano that I size up quite a bit in (33 waist but I wear 36 in milano fit...) to fit my thighs. Thanks! And, again, I apologize, I will crop out any further...moose knuckle in the future!

    well, I am a psychologist in training, I can handle questions like this :) i hear weirder shit everyday and get asked even stranger questions..

    I wear boxers and always have. I didn't even really think twice about it.

    I was looking into epaulet chinos and sizing up, anyone have experience with them ? NYR i know, but I think he and I have different builds.
