My experiment with dartless jackets. Never liked it, always felt too boxy and the 'quarter's too closed and length is also a bit (exactly 1" ) long for my liking for a SC.
Dreadful weather today. BTW, that's not actual spots on the tie, rather the camera lense messing about.
Spoiler: So on & so forth
It's still quite cool here in NYC, hence the early repeat of my flannel three-piece suit.

[Re: my pic yesterday] No, pretty old Ede bespoke that's been adjusted a couple of times over the years. Uses a cloth I can't remember, but probably Holland & Sherry.
Thank you! The colour balance is quite off in this pic, should have added a tint of blue to bring out the actual colours. The only item that is brown in reality is the watch band. The shoes are burgundy, the pant's are plum, the blazer is plum and grey checks, tie is dark navy, red and white, the PS is dark navy with hints of grey.
Nick, who makes the jacket?
Baby, it's cold outside.

Hah those are awesome. I was wondering when they were going to make an appearance...
I can't help thinking that they would look pretty cool peeking out of this beauty.
gloves look too big...
draws attention in a bad way
other than that, everything is great
especially that suit and coat
btw... the tie colors... and the gator gloves...
are you a florida gator by any chance?
Nope not a gators fan. Yes the damn gloves are too big. I knew they were roomy when I got them but seeing them in the pics I fear they may be unusable. Which effing blows because I love them and there's no way to replace them with a pair in my size.
Spoo, you're not allowed to wear those gloves until you have killed at least 10 grizzlies with your bare hands. I only know this because I have three pairs.
They overpower the rest of your fit, and are probably too big. All is not lost, however, you can still make sweet, sweet love to them in the privacy of your own home.
The light blue overcheck on these trousers fails to come through in these pics courtesy of artificial lighting. Building authorities have been notified and a skylight is to be installed at once.
C, that red scarf looks like you've performed a ritual SF sacrifice on one of your woolies!
The fabric and windowpane pattern on the coat is outstanding. As always, your posts are examples of how to use color with taste and imagination. What a beautiful tie.
