1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I actually think the title of this image is WTF.

So, yes. Also, I agree with davesmith, scarring has occurred.

THis is quite nice. Deets on the pants? I ´ve been eyeing a pair of dsquared2 like those in a very similar (if not same) color.

For what it's worth Tibor, I actually approve of the hat, if it wasn't for the predictable bovine moans of 'old' and 'grandpa' every time someone dares to don a lid perhaps we'd all be wearing them and be better off for it in my view. - more accessory options are a good thing plus there's the obvious benefit of shielding from rain and sun.

The consensus is the way it is 'just because' and it's self-perpetuating. How dull.

And one has no idea what he is talking about. Read a book so you don't sound like such a Tool.
My Style is that of Modernism. My major influence being that of British Menswear during the 1930's.

I don't know how people became so ignorant to think the fedora and double breasted suit is a mafia style. The Mafia copied the modernist (Art Deco) style as it was the prevailing style of the time period which symbolized being a gentleman and a man of honor. The mafia wore this style so they would not look like the mafia.

Agreed. That pic is not a fair representation of SWD. Let’s try a more direct comparison instead.

This was recently posted in MC Casual as a joke:

And this was recently posted earnestly in SWD. It has so far received 9 ‘Likes’.

Looks like ace's only mistake was that he forgot to list his brands.

Disclosure - I have a SW-without-the-D side that very occasionally surfaces in photographs over there and figures heavily in my daily life, these days

To get the most out of them, a number of this stuff crosses over to my MC-wear, but not to the same eclectic extremes that it did when I first began here
