The Polo Coat has a non-standard collar/lapel. As a purist, I find it a little disconcerting.
Otherwise, a beautiful coat. For a more traditional take on the style, see entry # 24, I
    think, from O'Connell's:

    What do you mean non-standard?

Bravo. That suit has such a fine color and excellent fit, and you found it at Goodwill, no less.

Check out the coat in O'Connells cited above. It's a more exact replica of the
Ivy/Trad version. I personally never owned such a coat when I lived in a cold climate.
I wore British Warms and fly front overcoats, along with Balmacaans.

If I've got time today you can judge mine, too.

I was thinking this too I must admit. Sure you could say it's a bit GQ looking but if you put both pics beside each other it would be obvious which one looks better. I think far too much emphasis is put on in this forum of what follows the rules or the SF groupthink or the "it's all about the fit and proportion" but not ever practicing what you preach. Though in foos case the majority of critiques weren't in his favour I must admit. What I'm trying to get at is sometimes we just need to step back and ask ourselves the very simple question of "does it look any good" and forget about all the other stuff. This looks really good...

Your outfit looks very good, in fact exceptionally good, now that it is not covered in scarf. :nodding:

    Monogrammed shirt cuffs though...
    Fashionable.... maybe
    OTT (over the top)..... definitely
    Stylish.... No
    Classy.... No
    Un-pick it..... Yes

This post could sound very offensive to some vets here especially coming from a teenager like you. This site is quite a cult especially in MC section so Credibility is quite relevant. Without you posting any picture of yourself displaying your the so-called sartorial taste, you will be scrutinized to death by vets here who have spent thousands of dollars on clothing items that you probably haven't even heard of, given your age. Since you haven't been active for awhile, they might just ignore you:D
