Someone explain why red, pink and burgundy cannot work together?

Spoo's application looks good to me. It sound shitty in theory, I guess, but seems to look fine, no?

    +1. Looks good to me.

surprised this isn't getting a lot of love. this is odd jacket and jeans done VERY well. nicely played SG.

Man, you have some great jackets.

    That tweed is incredible!

Thanks. That tweed is almost bullet proof but wears much softer.

The really unfortunate part is that it will be a while before I can justify another decent suit, barring any sales or lucky finds online.
Then I recommend that you take several robo-pose pictures of yourself wearing the suit -- front, side, rear -- and invite members to assess the fit. With that info and a good alterations tailor, you might be able to make this suit work without spending too much on it. You won't know until you've posted the pics, though.

Some people really can't take any criticism and think of me as some kind of a**hole.
Those two things aren't necessarily related, ace. [IMG]

(Just bustin' yer chops, bro. You're one of my faves.)

Hey, Fred - Take good care of the cymbidium orchids and they should last you a LONGG time - I used to grow them myself...Don't overwater, give them plenty of indirect light and keep them cool - not HOT - or better yet, let Nero Wolfe in and he'll help you. AND, of course, you're outfit is fabulous!!! And never mind that we all love your 'place' ......

    [IMG][/quote]

Spoozy - when I first saw your outfit, I thought "WOW!! Cool fit for you - and a bit more conservative than your usual. It looks great!!!" Congrats!!

The "trash it and buy a smaller jacket, preferably an S" alteration. Quite necessary, I think.

    slow down my man

Lets not deceive ourselves here. You are some kind of a**hole. It takes all kinds, even different kinds of a**hole. You're the kind of a**hole who wraps their a**holishness within a veil of "I'm just trying to help." Doesn't change whether or not you may make a good point. Nor does it change that I'm the kind of a**hole to disregard all or part of what you may think based upon my own opinions regardless of whether or not you chose to be an a**hole in the first place.

Hell no. I'm an a**hole, not a jacka**.

oh God ... everything Acecow said was accurate and i believe in good faith.

take the advice and stop being a d.ick!!!

No chance for a full-length today. Giving a ModernTailor.com "test" shirt a spin. I based the measurements on one of my Hemrajani shirts, but tried to trim up the fit a bit. Everything turned out pretty well except through the abdomen where I overdid it. Fortunately, the shirt was made with darts, and I was able to rip out the stitching. Problem solved!

hard to judge fit obviously, but the jacket, tie, ps combo looks nice SB.

Thanks guys - FWIW, the tie is purple, not burgundy - but I see what PSG is saying. I liked the fit, but I think there was something that lacked harmony to tie it all together. Cant put my finger on it.

A spring-like choice of shirt and tie, despite the fact that it will not break 43F/8C today in NYC.

Wishing can make it spring, no?

    FWIW, then . . .
