Rome, this is just untenable. Life will throw many obstacles in this girl's path, but Rob's acknowledgement of a well known rivalry is hardly one of them. Hell, man, in Texas, you might lose points on a test if your teacher is an Aggie and you show up with a UT shirt on. Of course, that's because Aggies are people without culture or honor, but I digress...

Here is a very rough chop job. BTW, if anyone can tell me how to smooth the edges quickly (I used the Megnetic Lasso Tool, took 10 seconds) I would appreciate it.

Is your Free Cash Flow (FCF) in at least single-digit shirt wears per week?

If so, get the $13 drink at the sports bar, even if it is a ripoff.

    Frack...where are my boots?

these don't look too bad, but maybe more charcoal instead of black...

SP - there may be some truth to the black.

Good grief! Reading some of these posts makes me wonder about common sense.

It's a joke, a tease. My very best friends, and many of my best students went to Michigan State University. I have many wonderful friends who teach at MSU. It is a great school. And, for the past several years, they have made mincemeat of the Michigan Wolverines. Although, maybe, that might change next year. A big maybe, though.

Michigan and MSU. A rivalry, but a good friendship, too! The state of Michigan has gone through terrible economic times. But our biggest points of light are our many excellent colleges and universities. There might be teasing and good humor, but it is done with respect.

obviously this is a sensitive subject for you
you probably get a lot of crap from people about all kinds of stuff when it comes to teaching and how to handle students
i commend you for your efforts as an educator

so you must understand that something said by a teacher to a student can leave a huge impact
    whether good or bad

if you have a good relationship with the student and you explained it clearly so that she knows it's a joke, then that's fine
but i had no way of knowing the context of the joke or your personal relationship with the student based on your original post

    ...
i'm not laying into newyorkranger .... so there's nothing to "lay off" of
i made an observation and gave my opinion

it's one thing to joke around with other adults
and totally another thing to throw out a joke at a young kid (who may or may not understand the joke)
