How many child labor laws were violated in this post?
Happy F ing Friday! Please no PS bullshit today its 9:15 and I am ready to shoot people!
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
Love that tie!
But aren't you supposed to use a match flame to light a cigar?
You sound like you are parent who understands these things.
We do have another business named Benjamin Hober. Its purpose is to grow silk worms, reel, dye and weave silk on our family farm here in Thailand. Up to now we have only woven traditional Thai silk but later we may do more Western style jacquard weaving.
Both Sam and Benjamin are growing up playing in our workshops after school so we will see later what direction they will take.
"I got my first job when I was nine, I worked at a sheet metal factory. In two weeks, I was running the floor. Child labor laws are ruining this country." - Ron Swanson
More than six thousand posts and you haven't seen this thread yet?
I understand that you are joking but you got me thinking about the Italian documentary film that has been promoting its trailer - the old tailors talk about learning to sew when they were young.
I think that if you don't start young you will rarely get the small details of making clothing - very much like sports - you typically need to start playing ball almost as soon as you can run.
I know that when I was young I started by sweeping the floors on the weekends in one of my father's clothing factories. This was when they still had lots of clothing factories in the New York area.
Then we would go to Little Italy for Italian food and cannolls . I remember my father always looking in store windows and he would talk to me about fabrics and colors.
I would like to see a picture of aforementioned tie
fred, i cant agree with you more.
I dont like using a match as it gives off a sulphur taste. But I do have a nice box of diamond strike anywhere matches
This sounds like something worth writing a book about. I mean, from sweeping floors in factories to becoming a tie artisan living and working in Thailand.
Usually I post in SW+D WAYWT. Didn't know there was another WAYWT schism!
His boring olive-suits are actually the perfect match for him. He's so boss! + Jerry's pants surely are Mabitexes/Incotexes.
