Haven't posted for a while.. However, this is what i had on friday...
I am by no means an expert but to my eye the db does not look good on you. Neither does the wide lapels and large cuffs.
I think you could get away with narrow lapels and would do better with a 2b, high gorge, and no cuffs. I think your view of the rules is really skewing your overall look and you should take more chances.
If you got that rig made up by a tailor, I am interested in what direction they would have gone without your input.
Large cuffs shorten the legs whilst the 4-1 elongates the body making him look more childlike. The fit of the suit is excellent, just the style totally not right for his stature.
Oh man, do I know it!
You have donned stuff even I wouldn't wear
You are the antiFoo
Wow. Wait for tomorrow.
Eh! I know what you look like
I was drunk.
I think this has turned into a cautionary tale about double-breasted suits in general, really.
Luca or Mariano?
^^ haha ^^
pics or gtfo
Hate to pile on, Foo, but the button stance is just weird. The distance between the lower and upper buttons appears to be greater than the distance from the lower buttons to the hem, making it look like the skirt of the jacket was originally longer then shortened. I think this would be awesome if the working buttons were a couple of inches higher up. The lapels are sweet, and I think the big cuffs look great with the gunboats.
