Wrong. Shoulder pads would definitely help. I shudder to think how he would look topless.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I can pretty much guarantee you that you're going to be greatly outnumbered on this one. GW's suits are some of my favorites on teh interwebs.

No new garments from me today (except for the bow tie). Felt like I had to snap some pics though, as the autumn colours outside are beautiful right now.

I thought I had some good pics of me from dinner last night, but they all sucked. In lieu of, I give you Mrs. Spoo. The vivaciousness in this photo is directly proportionate with her hangover today. :)

I was being sarcastic. It's a nice jacket, but navy pants, formal white shirt and navy tie make the combination very suit-y. Why not light-gray or mid-gray flannels, tatterstall shirt, and burnt-orange foulard tie, for example, to really differentiate this outfit from a suit?

sarcasm detection fail on my part then
unfortunately i don't have any of those things you mentioned
i'm shopping around now for a good mid gray wool pants
i ordered and received a pair last week... but they are too baggy and not really what i was hoping so my search continues
i'm still working on building my wardrobe

Nice to see someone actually dressing up just to look good while taking the dog out (as opposed to dressing up for work because it's a must or posing in the bathroom to share pics on the Internet).

Great outfit and picture. Though i'd switch the pit for some other dog to make it more picture perfect.

I really like this.

From a personal perspective, short of Black-Tie events, I cannot imagine being brave/eccentric/cool enough to ever wear a bow-tie.

I'm sure the loss is mine however.

Thank you, I pretty much dress like this all the time.

Thank you, but I wouldn't trade my cuddly little staffie girl for any dog in the world (although I do love my other dog, which is a North American Shepherd, just as much).

100% perfect.

Thank you dude! Autumn wear is where I feel most comfortable I guess.

Thank you. I've never really strived for an eccentric look, although I'm quite aware that the tie / bow tie ratio is probably 100 to 1 among men in general. I just like the way they look (sounds cliché no? Quite true though).

Also, thanks for all the thumbs up guys!
