Jacket is hilarious. For the right setting, it would be great. I can't think of many such settings. Summer party at a friend's home, or an evening with friends at a riverside pub, perhaps.
Or a crime scene, where it would be great for confusing the witnesses.

Love the shirt/tie combo, HF. That a Drakes shantung? Edit: Oops. My bad. That's their silk/linen, not the shantung, right?

The button-down collar on the shirt does not work for me.

Usually I'm all for dark ties, but I like your choice today, HF. It's nice with the pink shirt. Very cheerful.

Really like the blazer with the pearl (?) buttons, too.

Thanks. I was in a cheerful mood. [IMG]

Yes, they're mother-of-pearl buttons. The jacket is actually part of a suit, and came with a choice of smoked grey or white MOP buttons to attach. It's a lightweight part-lined suit, so I opted for the white buttons precisely so it could do double-duty as a spring/summer odd jacket. It still works as an unconventional suit too, despite the light-coloured buttons.

I totally sucked today, contestwise and in any respect

Funnily enough, I like today's look from you, esp. the tie.

Love the shirt/tie combo, HF. That a Drakes shantung?

Edit: Oops. My bad. That's their silk/linen, not the shantung, right?

Correct; it's the silk & linen. And thanks!

One of the best first WAYWRN posts I've seen. Everything is awesome except the shirt, a spread collar would look really good I think. Good job overall though, really solid performance!

This jacket is criminal genius. Run in and do your deed and they see a white jacket. The bystanders viewing the aftermath see a man fleeing in a blue jacket.

p.s. I fixed my tie knot after photo.

P,what is the fabric of the jacket? Is it RTW or custom?
