^ Those braces are great. I was going to buy a topcoat from CT but it was a bit tight fitting around my bottom! need to lose some weight....

Looks like fun. Where's Barims been recently? His postings were one of the major reasons I started looking at this forum - he pulls off far more interesting combinations than most.

^ Thank you. I began overhauling my wardrobe this year and have also concentrated more on my blog-column and work. Additionally, I've been quite lazy about acquiring a new camera and so I sporadically post stuff from social occasions and portrait shoots. I still compile them at http://barimavox.blogspot.com/search/label/outfit for the convenience of all

Here's a shot from September I never got around to posting here, taken by Street Etiquette and SF's JKissi; I'm awaiting more shots of my cotton suit from him:

I like the coat even though its seems quite short. But I have to say that I really think that the trousers are nothing special and I dont think the fabrics interact well. No offence intended though.

Really awesome. Love the jacket and I think button downs do well with your facial shape. If I had to make a small complaint (I think I might have made a similar comment to you before, not sure), I'd increase the lapel width a hair and, even with the same lapels, have a tie that is wider at the bottom and has more taper up to the knot (don't know if I'm using the right terminology). This tie, while very nice, is kind of straight and slightly narrow, and I think for you a wider and more trapezoidal shape might be better. But I might be just talking gibberish, not sure.

Youch dude, that DB fits the opposite of how it should- it's making you look like a triangle instead of an upside-down triangle, really emphasizing your stomach. It would probably look better with the middle button done up instead of the bottom as well, just because of the way the jacket fits (already it's not very fitted and buttoning it from the bottom doesn't help). I do like the ticket pocket on a DB though.

The strange thing about Oldog is the fact that he doesn't have a stomach. He has proven that. It is how he likes his suits. Also, that style DB 6x1 is not meant for buttoning to the middle.

Eason and Patty, what's the deal with chicks-that-look-like-dudes avatar trend?

% has his style and he does it well. On the opposite end of the spectrum, patrickBOOTH and Eason like the slim look, and even though it may not be everyone's style, I think they do it well. Too many cross the line and have pulls, creases, bow'd lapels, way-too-short jackets & moose knuckles, and it's nice to see you guys give a good representation of what the style is supposed to look like.
