Derek, lovely fit as usual. Too big tie knot... as usual. Why would you do a double FIH with a tie like that?

He's giving the DT fellas something to complain about.

Too much, Bleachy. Everything above the waist is shouting for attention. A nice, solid tie with a bit of texture would have worked nicely.

i dont like a FIH with this. I much prefer a tad more heft to my knot with a cashmere or wool tie.
he must have watched the GQ video series where they show the "italian" way of knotting a tie:slayer:
i have come to love the double FIH but i tighten it up as much as possible

thanks for posting that link...i had seen it awhile ago but couldnt remember where.

I'm guessing to keep the end of the tie close to the belt buckle. Tie length is a funny thing and to get the right size, you need to tie before you buy.

that it is digs. But I just prefer a double FIH on my ties....i tried a FIH before, but IMHO its too small for the width and girth (?) of the tie. When I tie the FIH and keep the knot tight, the knot is VERY small. I dont like that. So a double to me works best.

Great patterned suit, but way too many colors and linear patterns going on overall. Lets step back a bit.

I would suggest a solid white or blue shirt, solid burgundy or silver/black glen plaid tie and white pocket square.

I would encourage you to work on nailing the basic color concepts first for each suit, then adding one pattern at a time. Don't start with four of them.

But, I give you bonus points for selecting the solid colored coordinated socks. (You could teach one or two guys on here, who shall remain nameless but they know who they are, a lesson or two about that. ) The solid matching socks show off the beautiful pattern in your suit and don't distract from it. Way to go. :fistbump:

Looks good, Viktor, but where's the bathroom?

Yes, there is such a big problem.
So - when I do a photo - you have to limit myself in the water.
It is very difficult. But - need to work on these.

I'm bound to be in the minority on this, but I actually think you've pulled off the mega-pattern coordinating pretty well here. It's mostly the loud (and unattractive) tie that's causing eye overload and carrying you into The Spoozy Zone.

Apparently, the emperor's clothes aren't the only thing that's invisible.
