Cheers - it raised a smile or two at the office, which isn't bad going for a monday.

no issue with the hourglass,

imo, the flaps are too big, same goes for your patch pockets, and the leg width does not harmonize with the shoes.

Love this look. Inspired. Simple but effective. You know I'm always looking for ways to throw the odd SC into a fit.

Sunshine and showers - Tuesday

Well more accurately brief glimpses of bright grey interspersed with torrential downpours...

Tried to brighten the day up:

Details:

Shoes: Barker 'Nairn' - Dainite soled Storm-Welted footwear seemed appropriate
No wale Cords: Uniqlo
Cashmere/wool blend SC: Brook Taverner/Robert Noble (in need of a press)
Shirt: TM Lewin
Tie: Profumo
Silk PS: Unbranded (probably should have gone for a deep pink or burgundy, but that's with hindsight)

Playing with a Nikkor 35/f2 AIS today

This is a classic ensemble. Another neat demonstration of why you are in my list of top 5 posters on the "What Are You Wearing Right Now" thread.

On a lighter note what city / town do you take the photos? Never seen any other person in the background.

A nice balance of color. The shoes complement the tie. The windowpane on windowpane effect of the shirt and coat would seem, on first thought, to not be a good idea. But in this case, it works wonderfully because the brilliant color of the tie distracts the eye. This is all really nice.
