All is forgiven Oldog. When someone challanged you to find a pic of Astaire in a hawian shirt, I knew that I had seen one before but thought I would leave it to you[IMG]

    Really like this jacket.

I could imagine this in a full suit....

Thanks. It would be one hell of a suit!

    Great jacket!

    Thanks!

I already told you in your own thread that bold plaids simply don't work as suits. It's just too much of the same loud pattern:

Nice boots, jacket & friends [IMG] Whereabouts was the wedding?
Thanks. Wedding was in the middle of nowhere - in Oxfordshire.

Less dandified today - first experiment with MTM.

Superb combining. It might be the stance/angle in the later pic throwing me off, but I can't help wondering if a narrower shoulder might look better? Or is this a conscious choice? (I know I err to the narrow side myself)

Yet I can't help liking this. Certainly more than your friday shirts... [IMG]

My new linen suit arrived. [IMG]

This is probably the last time it will be seen without massive amounts of crumpling...

Are you being facetious, or serious? Because, I have several bold plaid suits that I love, and IMHO this works like a motherfucker, OD. This is your best look yet.

I think we need less Bukkake & more criticism.. I may start next week.. Unless Diavolo returns as he did have very valid critiques. How else are we to learn.. Just a thought.
    Thanks. Please do that.
But "boring (if stylish)" isn't the only way to be stylish. The equation has multiple solutions. Not saying I - or Spoo, or indeed ANYONE on this board (inc. vox, PG and the other more consistent guys) - always solve the equation correctly. Of course they don't, and yes, it's harder to manage louder looks in some ways than quieter ones (in other ways, quieter looks are harder). But the idea that the only stylish is boring stylish is just plain wrong and we've seen plenty of examples from lots of posters over the years of "interesting/unusual & stylish".
Hmm... yes and no. I do agree that there are users who can pull off unusual fits (Neo and barims come to my mind) - but I would not say that there are "plenty", not at all. I would say that many would better master the basics first before trying something "adventurous".

Wrinkled sleeves=nice. Materials that get a nice wrinke make everything look better.

    Bright and breezy Tuesday.

Combination largely stolen from one of Neo's old posts, but the wrinkles are all mine:
