And I wish those pants had cuffs on them, wld help with the hanging of the material.

Seriously, I knew the tie was a mistake when I left the house this morning. One of the great things about looking at yourself on the interwebz. As soon as I saw it online, I knew it was a mistake. In the mirror I was an effing superstar

I appreciate all the advice and criticism - they are most definitely spot on. I was trying to do a B/W theme with a green hue. The jacket is of course one of my favs and I have (I think) successfully pulled it off with a blue tone and a brown/blue tone, so I was trying to make the jacket look new with a different color :

Well, they're really jeans.

This is the point where mafoofan usually browbeats me about my jeans being too long, but I believe that he is too busy refining the pending updates to his blog.

Robert Whittaker is looking into getting a bolt of Simonnot-Godard chambray for me, so I'm hopeful for Anglo-French rapprochement.

I feel that way all the time. May I quote you in my sig?

Thanks, Mike. As for the knot, I tend to take my clothing pix after work, and I sometimes forget to snug everything back into place before snapping the shutter.

Thanks, MoK. As part of my sock evolution, I sported a new pair of lavender/gray argyles today.
