You've shown some good things, but I always feel your combinations are a bit too busy and incongruent. You often have three or four very bold items, and I think you'd benefit from removing or toning down one or two.
I understand that the simple look is not for everybody, but I actually think you are a great example of someone whose outfits have really benefited from just some very minor toning down. You haven't lost your flair for color use or pattern combining, but it's better edited than it was a year or so ago. You look better because of it.
Nice look HF. What color socks, though?
crepe sole C&J suede brogues
Like a lot; esp. the square.
Though the look is pretty good, I think the peeking undershirt partially ruins it, try getting deep v-neck ones
Nice PS
I'm starting to feel a distinct urge to get more daring with my socks. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But soon, and for the rest of my life.

Please resist that urge.
Did I miss something?
Oldog/oldtrix, Fabulous! Love the drape of the coat and full trouser. The collar spread is perfect. Who makes these sartorial masterpieces?
Looking sharp. Black shirt in the daytime, pretty daring by styleforum standards, no?
Its frustrating to see people constantly try to impose the SF approved colors of navy, grey, white and brown on others - and its usually people who never post their fits. I think its just silly to expect everyone to keep to that. This is not a catholic school, where we have to wear uniforms.
That is a collar pin.
