    Sic transit gloria Friday:

Parked in the lot of the now-shuttered Louis, Boston at its old Newbury Street location

This brings back some memories (early 90's). I recall the Louis valets readily accommodated us, even when not technically shopping at their store. Very convenient for lunches! I recall my S.A there was a diminutive chap named Anthony?

Is Herb Chambers still around for BMW's? The M3 was de rigueur when I was 19. (I vaguely recall a herb chambers + m80 t-shirt?)

TFL, I think you'd have looked better if you had worn a tie with that contrast-collar shirt or maybe another shirt w/o a contrast-collar. That way, you could go tieless..."Just saying".

Of course you can, if you can find one! As ThinkDerm notes, its a Herringbone.

thankfully NOT!! the ML (especially the old model) is a dead car walking. this is the E - and its been reliable the last five years i've owned it. hopefully it will be an easy (but probably pricey) fix[IMG] [IMG] .

i think your sensors probably acted up. last time my brakes were changed the pads were a smidgen too big (dont know why) and were pressurizing the brake sensors, which happens to be connected to the power steering, distronic and a couple other sensors. car acted the same way you described, but thankfully not to me - to the dealers.

If this is too extreme I'm interested in what you would find subtle [IMG]

It's too extreme for NOBD, not in general. The color is, in a way, extreme; black is very harsh, normally, NOBD's ensembles are "softer"; also, the width of the tie is extreme.

The tie is (dark) navy and the suit charcoal, but they're both darker and smoother than the rest of my (preferred) stuff. I understand your point.

Need just the right selection after a stressful week...
