All Bijan sleeves come that way.

I fail to detect the proper reverence in your tone.

I know you don't have a full shot, but those pants look like they fit you better than any other pair I've ever seen you post (especially the rise). Great fit. Slimmer pants on you just rounds out your outfits perfectly IMO.

Might be one of the best pics ever posted!!!!!!
    - really..
    Winter Clouds Thursday:
Drakes (for A Suitable Wardrobe) cashmere tie
    - B

    - how many SFers have something like this from the same season.. [IMG]
    You borrowed MM's new car?
The day I'd own such a tacky clown of a car is the day I burn all my Liverano bespoke jackets.
    - no way CMM would fit in or be seen in..
Ugly car. Lovely tie. Suit looks good too.
If I had the money to burn and decided I wanted to pay Lambo frequent repair bills, I'd get an 80s Countach, just for the sheer retro-cheese factor. [IMG]
    - you do realise the current Lambos are made by Audi (just like your A?)
    - agreed, not the best rooking car.. BUt I was thinking of the pic composition & schlock value
    Vintage Suit
    - I find it quite intriguing that even this vintage suit looks very similar to your current stuff
    fresh ...
    - not if you smelt the stale cigar aroma
    Deets:
    - your jkts are rooking really good lately
I see the the Ayshun contingent is embracing the [IMG] collar aesthetic.
    Old shot new coat Behr
    - very styling coat
+1 That is my #1 problem with this thread....EVERYTHING always has to be "great!" and "your best fit yet!"
    With that said....
I simply do not get this. The fabric on the suit looks more like a SC fabric, the matchy matchy tie & PS, the texture of the tie doesn't vibe with the overall 'country' look of the suit/shoes. (Shoes are awesome, though)

It's probably more a testament to your consistency that I felt the need to provide some constructive criticism. Maybe I'm just wondering what the thought process was behind the look?

    - I hear yah.. & thats what this threak should be about, not COUNTLESS re-posting of the whole POST..
    - FWIW, I actually started the day with a dark grey mini birds eye wool suit, then went to tailor to drop of for minor alterations & picked up this one as it was FREEZING & forgot what the actually high-light tones of the suit..
Here is my first attempt at multiple shots...
The shoes need a shine but they don't look as bad as the photos suggest.

    - napalm not shine
Indeed, terrible suit please send it to me.
I remember he snagged it off the B&S forum for a song (same size as me). Beat me to it.

    - you must have been really slow as I ummed & arhed for a few weeks!
Wouldn't normally be my sort of thing at all... but that car does have a certain something.
    - hot peppers? I agree..
Alright then. I'm usually better at picking up on sarcasm. [IMG] Glad I could help stem the tide of "everything is great, you look superb, blah blah blah. At least you guys have an opportunity to offer advice rather than just drool on each other. [IMG] As nearly all of my posts indicate, I am new at this. Seems like a still have a lot to learn.
    - good sport.. Now read every page of WAYW.. [IMG]
Not a problem - I like a lot of variety in cuts and just choose what feels right for the day. The tyranny of a single cut doesn't sit well with me, but I appreciate the consistency of look and cut I see in others. Felt a bit cool and rainy today so I went for the loose, layered country feel. Here's a brown "fuzzy" look from a while back - chamois cloth shirt, moleskin trousers, and very waisted (for me) tweed jacket.
    - I actually think if you took pics from a better angle it wont's be so 'pear' shape
Temperature is almost 60. Sun roof open for the first time in months.
    - BIG shirt with pirate sleeves?
i assumed i was arriving fashionably late but it seems the party is over then
    - party is still rocking, I just found it interesting that you have been a member for a few years & felt compelled to tell us about the "no-break"..
wearing my howard yount tie for the first time
    - was safe until the choice of foot wear.. Nothing wrong with wearing loafers with suits, just need teh right application & context
    Vintage Tweed
    - this is epic on a few levels.. But am not about to RE-POST like the rest of the (sh)peeps
    ..
    - solid part!
Today, broke out the black longwings for their first appearance in a couple of months:
    - I like the LW!
My first post in this thread!
Just on the way out for a casual meal. Sorry for the crappy quality pic.

    - crappy pic is the least of your worries
Welcome to StyleForvm. I look forward to more of your posts.
    - B

    - I see what you are doing
Wed: Struggling with low light at the end of day.
    - SOLID
    Shoes: Carmina
    - One of my few regrets.. At least they went to a worthy home
Gregaz, as usual very sharp. What shoes are they and where can one purchase a pair?? [IMG]
    - not in Australia

CUSS that was a long post

Casual Friday. The photos are a bit hit and miss, I've seen some good pics taken with an iPhone on here but I'm not there yet.

Is Spring ever going to appear?

Bitterly cold north-easterly wind, needing something a bit weightier:

Very nice, perhaps the trousers are a bit too full? A little trimming might be nice, maybe just the wind though.

This is an attention grabbing combination. Another example of the necessity of knit ties as part of an essential wardrobe.
