The navy linen DB are the only i DELIBERATELY copy, as for my first summer bespoke sartorial sample. dont think i will say sorry for that.
The STYLE i copy deliberately to start a drama from PG is the reason i may appologize to him.

Wow. I wouldn't have been brave enough to go with a patterned shirt under that tie. To be honest I wouldn't have been brave enough to go with the tie, but it's got a strange appeal.

Relax Trini. I'm not here to pick a fight with you or anybody else.

It's all good, Foxxy - neither am I.

Thanks both - I know CP is a fan of DB's but it's not what I would consider one of my best fits - My own critique was trouser texture/colour worked well with the DB, but needed to be slimmer cut with the DB's slim unvented cut. Shirt okay - I like contrast collar's occasionally, but wider spaced stripes would have been better, and probably blue rather than grey. Bow and PS fine. Shoes fine. I gave myself a 6.5 out of 10, but then I've got pretty low standards [IMG]
To be honest, I barely noticed the DB. It was the total picture, clothing and setting that caught my fancy. It was such a natural and honest appearance that I felt moved to give it "hyperbole".

Thanks - no criticism intended, I was just surprised it got such a positive response (and not just from you).

    Nice.

    +1

For "deliberatly copying" PG's style, I believe.

I'll let you re-read that and think about how ridiculous that sounds.

I don't think it sounds ridiculous. I think it's BS, when people come here to copy the style of posters who's style they admire. I personally would never do that.
