I'm not sure I follow. I've had dry cleaners ask me about pressing them (with a crease, although when this would ever be desirable I haven't figured out) versus rolling them (no crease) but don't know what open / closed means...

Yea. I have a couple pairs, down from three earlier this year. One met its untoward end, and so this pair enters rotation as the replacement.

I just mean they open the lapels before pressing, so that there is no crease.

Doc - fantastic jacket, as always. Is there even a canvas to this jacket? If not how do you find it has been holding its shape over time? My curiosity has been piqued to order something similar, but likely in a thick, soft wool.

Med. Fits a bit snug but comfortable. Had the sleeves shortened a bit. I'm a 40S.
