    Really nice combo today Holdfast.

Thanks - I don't think I've done yellow/gold and navy for a while, so it was fun to do today. [IMG]

    BB forward point
Linett Ltd for The English Shop (Princeton) 3/2 sack suit
    Horse emblematic
    Coach belt
    J&M Aristocrafts
    Press charcoal herringbone overcoat

Nice overcoat, and I like the way the shoes work with the tie. I'd prefer a slightly lower buttning point on the jacket but that's being picky.

You're always looking highly distinguished. [IMG] I like everything about today's outfit!
    Cheers!
Im late, Im late.... so very late..

Horrible day, crap weather... sleeve length issue to fix next visit to the mole.

I'm personally not a great fan of the jeans with suit and tie combination, but I really like that scarf.

    Really slick MoK.

While Mok is always impeccably outfitted, this particular combo and especially the suit - looks like a $million$
    Fabulous

+1, I like to colour mix.

I'm going to pile on and say Great look today MOK!

    Thanks guys [IMG]

Nicely done today MoK ... Joop made some really good colognes back in the day. It was the first cologne i ever owned. Bought for my by an ex girlfriend in high school ... Havent seen them around lately ... came in a burgundy bottle ... good stuff.

Joop cologne is still widely available over here - I was given a bottle of Joop! Homme for Christmas (too sweet/frloral/fruity for me - I'm more of a citrusy/woody fan). You don't see their menswear much in the UK but it's popular in Germany. Quality is okay for a fashion brand.

B-School Interview Wednesday in the A:
Hope it went well - nothing to frighten an interviewer here but not dull either [IMG]

Another great outfit, but it's the PS that particularly grabbed me - details?

Dear MoK, I normally love your style - but, looks all too big in this photo - Have you lost some serious weight??

    T

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to lose a few pounds but with limited success. I think what you're seeing is just a dodgy photo. The trousers are flapping in very strong winds and the hand in the pocket doesn't do the suit any favours. For a better indication of fit I postd the same coat buttoned on Monday and the same suit without a coat last week or the week before.

I need that coat [IMG] [IMG]
    LOVE this outfit. [IMG]
Cheers - inspired by both Doc and Yfyf's mixing of green and blue [IMG]

Trimmed the neckline on the 2-week(-ish) facial fuzz:

Fuzz looks good - I'd be tempted to keep it fairly trimmed. Still deciding whether to give mine another go. Nice navy/gold combo.

Its funny you said that - I just picked up a bottle of Santal by Creed this week and I couldnt place where the scent was familiar from.... they smell very similar.

    Thank you!!! [IMG]
    My pleasure. [IMG]
Crossposted from the Tommy Nutter thread due to the provenance of my coat. Photo credits go to Neo: [IMG]
You pull of what should have been an absolute disaster with confidence and aplomb. But this seems to be common with your outfits. I enjoy your creativity.

I am glad that someone caught the reference. I used to listen to Sherman all the time as a young'n.
Thanks - I don't think I've done yellow/gold and navy for a while, so it was fun to do today. [IMG]
    Well played, sir.

    - I laughed..
    - Fat the same as Phat?

No, PHAT is more aspirational than the FAT reality. Though many have tried to keep up with mysterious looking bracelets and Alden snuff suede chukkas, PHAT is a moving target impossible to hit. Just as they think they have it in their sights, all of a sudden it's ginghams with french cuffs and black shoes.

You get the feeling that a lot of the regular American posters are snowed in and wearing three-piece PJs all day today?

    The coat is awesome. [IMG]

Jacket also seems a fraction (just a fraction) short too. But the gun club colours are great and I adore the tie (source?).

    Pretty cool jacket fabric.

    LOVE this outfit. [IMG]
