DTO nice jacket. A bit of an overshoot for me with the scarf that I don't think coordinates and the socks just makes it too much.

Looking good MoK! I think we have the same taste in shoes... Any chance of some close ups of the Barkers?

Cheers. Best I could quickly find:

Thank you. Here's another pic of the tie.
    Thanks - looks great.

Can you button that jacket, MoK? I like the 501s. To my mind, that's exactly the way a guy should wear jeans with a tailored odd jacket: slim but not tight, just low enough to be proper for jeans, but not low like a teenage girl would wear them, no stacking, and no distressing. That said, if you're going to go with jeans, ditch the vest and the chain. There's too much of a discordance in formality going on.

Teger or some of the Streetwear kids will no doubt tell you they look like dad jeans, but I'd ignore them.

Cheers Foo - It buttons okay: http://i449.photobucket.com/albums/q...00124_main.jpg it is however about 3/4" too short in the body and 1/3" shorter in the sleeves than I'd really like. I like 501s, I'd prefer it if they had 1/2" extra rise, but they seem to fit my largish thighs well wihilst still looking reasonably slim. I disagree that the waistcoat is more formal than the jacket, but may be the chain does push it over the top. Still as my wife only bought me the pocket watch last wek I've got to show I'm using it [IMG]

Haven't posted in a while. But I got a new jacket and wanted to show it off! Color looks way off its a bright bright blue/purple!

    Glasses: Shuron
    Jacket: Piombo
    Shirt: Made To Measure
    Tie: Alby
    Jeans: Levi's 501

The combination suits your style. I'd like to see a true colour shot.
Are those raw 501s, or do they sell them without horrendous washes and random sandings in Jolly Ol'?

They're nice, is alls I'm sayin'.

They're a dark dye rather than a true raw - I can't remember what the colour was called. The inner label is Levi Strauss Europe, so they might be different to what you get.

wonderfully done MoK. the contrast of the jacket and vest is stellar.

    Cheers!

I like this, but I don't think it needs the scarf on top of the rest.

lol what, first jean recommended to people new to jeans is the iconic Levi 501s in raw or at least dark rinse. Also they look great on MOK.

    Cheers.
