Holdfast really? Those boots probably got over 40 PMs over the course of the year asking where to buy them. I almost wore some sueded captoe brogues but it looked like it might rain and I figured boots fit in better. Cheers on the sweater though, fell in love with it as soon as I saw it (and got 2 other colors as well).

^ oh, the boots work great with the outfit; I'm just not a lace-up boot kind of guy. Same with NOBD's pair upthread; they work very well with the outfit, but I don't like them in isolation.
