1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You mean this isn't real life? (I must be on the machine too much of late . . .)[IMG]

I feel like we would be friends in real life. Just saying.

Pitti Uomo. You know, the affected, absurd peacock-fest that goes on twice a year in Italy??

Why else do you think I would be ruining this fit with cargo pants and causing some of our esteemed colleagues to shed tears of regret for me??? [IMG]

I was praying that you all were close enough to Mardi Gras that everyone in New Orleans would be too drunk to notice what you are wearing.

I have no idea whether this constitutes anything but a mess, but here goes my attempt.

I had to leave the house today, so my Sprezz, is liking individual components and putting them together.

Looks great. I am not a fan of the lining, or contrast stitching, however.

It is Friday, Mr. D.....NOLA is drunk anyway. Mardi Gras is for tourists.

    - smh ... how did you even think all this up ... lol.

Believe it or not, but it only took me a few minutes—let's say I have a vivid imagination... The sunglass thing I do in summer with jackets with a breast pocket that's not deep enough for glasses; a bit dangerous for the button hole, but it can be convenient. The bracelets are actually my daughter's hairbands (how do you call those?), which sometimes end up on my arm spontaneously. The turned around watch band, eh... don't have a clue why I thought of that. The glove in my pocket is from real life too, but then in my overcoat, and two of them. The cig, eh... I have to quit. And the silk knots were just the first stupid thing that came to mind.

I just realized that you shot these in your house, and Photoshopped them into the exterior location. Fuckin' A, Bubba...that is dedication. [IMG]

Hehe. I figured I didn't have to tell, because it was so obvious (apart from some apparent retouching, there are two suns shining in the pic...). Here's the originals:

Unfortunately, couldn't go for the total sprzz explosion cause I still had to go to work today and the lapel flower, ps, loud coat and pants were well beyond the boundary of acceptable at my conservative work place. I am quite the source of entertainment for my colleagues. [IMG]

Ah, I understand. My day: bring my daughter to her grandparents, get behind the computer to work (I work from home), pick her up.

Unless you count a foot and a half of snow on the ground, and salt stains on my boots, I'm afraid, I'm sitting the best sprezz competition.

The turned around watch band, eh...
My Dad always wears his watch turned around, a habit he picked up when he was a naval officer in WWII. The idea was to prevent light from reflecting off the crystal at night.

Neo, your amount of raw, uncut swag is mindboggling.

I find it hard to believe he's a real person living a real life!

Still not sure I understand the theme - is it sprezzatura? = studied nonchalance, is that not an oxymoron? What's 'pitti' all about? Oh well, here goes ...
