Not sold on the choice of shirt, but the jacket and tie look very nice.

    Finally Friday!

You'll have to imagine this with the light brown canvas hat with dark brown band (it was on my desk at work):

This is just a straight-up great photo. Lovely colours, inc. the leaves on the decking. Nice one, Moo.

Wicked tie. Good to have you posting again too!

Your bow-ties are always so wonderfully knotted. As always, the dictator shades add the finishing touch.
    Back to work!
I'm not quite feeling this as much as some others are. I love the suit and the shoes, but something's not quite there for me in the shirt/tie/square. Maybe a very pale blue shirt instead? Dunno...

The jacket is so damn cool.

Sounds like a chilled-out, laid-back Tuesday. Couldn't get today's look to photo right. In motion, it's a lot less frumpy. You'll just have to trust me - or not, as the case may be - on that one! [IMG] [IMG][IMG]

Money shot....love the lights reflection superstar!

I like the word "superstar" as spoken in a Brooklyn accent, by the way. Thank you

You are one bad motherfucker, Barims.

    Mike

Cheers; I seem to be reading that a fair bit of late

Thank you, C, and I'll trust you regarding the lack of frumpiness. It's actually one of the best jeans and sportcoat combinations I've seen here, and I write that as one who usually disdains the practice

    Also, I like your blog

Thanks on both counts! I'm enjoying writing the blog. I'm not quite managing the post a day I planned when I started but I am writing something on a majority of days. I haven't written anything regularly in years (outside of work), so it's fun to have the chance to do so now that I no longer need to do the 9-5 grind.

As for today's look, in motion it's a lot more fluid than the static pics suggest. There isn't as much of a disconnect between the jacket and the jeans as it appears in the photos. Somehow I couldn't get that to translate across. But I'm glad you liked it anyway; high praise indeed!

I was not sure what to expect as it was my first suit but the result speak for itself.
    Sadly, it does.

Simple, elegant, with just the right amount of flash from that wicked PS. Love the texture on that tie, too.
