I like the idea of navy shoes, but I believe changing the shoes would be playing it too safe. There's life in the combination as is

If anything does niggle at me, it's your button stance: I find the top two a little too distanced from your lapels and the style might look better lowered. Nevertheless, I'm in favour, overall

Thanks guys. I'm usually in grays, browns and blues, so this feels kinda loud for me.

It's a cotton Isaia jacket I got at Ian's. I think it might be an orphan from a suit. Patch would probably be better for this. It has flaps, but I just tucked them in at some point and forgot about them.

I totally understand (my colour trio as well), but it's not loud at all.

Huh. That's, er, different.... Kudos for courage, but personally, I think those lapels and that cloth are sort of ugly -- a barcoded pastiche of a 1930s jacket. Who designed them?

Shoes are great, IMHO, and I love the coat. The shirt, not so much....

You wore a seersucker suit in Toronto? Respect! Very nice fit on the jacket, but I think the shirt and tie are a bit too formal to make for a good combination -- something lighter and more summery would have worked better.

Great jacket! And I'm glad to see that good old Gallo tie is still in service. Why the felt flower trend has ever caught on, though, is completely beyond my comprehension. Oh, and TRINI: love the jacket/shirt/tie combo!

I think the colors go together but I wonder if the stripes in the suit and shirt are too close in scale?

Those colors and that facial expression, man. Too much.

I am really liking today's selection though. Is that a Polo suit?

Thanks, it's Brooks Bros. I do believe his button stance differs somewhat from mine though:

Thanks, good point. We're pushing 'feels like 40 degrees when you factor in the humidex' now, so it's at least practical for a suit. That's celcius, not farenheit.

i think this looks good too ... sometimes the grays, browns and blues get boring. Obviously people like that on you more, cos i am surprised at the little feedback on this, whereas you get a lot more praise on some blue or gray fits. I like this more than some of those blues and grays.

Thanks - honestly i think its more good than great ... but i appreciate it.

On to more serious matters, i think i could pull a p/s in one pocket and a SOCK-SQUARE in the other.

Coming soon to a WAYWRN near you.
