I'm thinking that with this look you might find no socks and loafers to compliment the yellow pants. I've always had a tough time pairing socks with light colored slacks, so I simply stopped wearing socks with them.

Spoo caught me off guard with his, temporarily blinded by the brightness. I want to change the shoes to something else but not sure what.

cinammon brown suedes loafers (with no socks) would have been killer.

I just want to add that my boss saw me standing in my office and called my outfit a "costume" and called people in to look at me and take pictures of me . There is a big difference between the real world, and SF. [IMG]

I still love my RLPL checked pants though. [IMG]

I would think that some of your more "bold" suits might be construed as "costumey" but not a casual look like today's. Is your boss in the office much?

No, rarely. And, he is a terrible dresser. [IMG]

It is all in good fun. He wants a costume? He gets the RLPL "Disney Suit" on Monday. [IMG]

    I felt sunny. Thanks guys.

MrDaniels - Not quite sure how to take that compliment.... [IMG] [IMG]

    Some time today:

    Is that an Isaia suit?

    10/10

    What brand are the chinos.

    Thank you! They are Borrelli.

Good to see this back on track, and thanks for the last minute include.

Spoo caught me off guard with his, temporarily blinded by the brightness. I want to change the shoes to something else but not sure what.

I agree with you. I had a hard time choosing shoes today - I thought these vintage shells were as best as I can get. I had on originally the navy Gieves & Hawkes monks, but it was too heavy.

    Spoo,

Looking sharp as always. That looks like a versace pocket square? AmIright?

Thanks Skinny - Yes, the PS is a Versace "Tresor la Mer" printed twill. One of my favorite patterns, and also my summer china. [IMG]

cinammon brown suedes loafers (with no socks) would have been killer.

100% agree - Thanks Nii - now I have another reason to explain a new pair of shoes to Mrs. Spoo. "Nii made me do it!" [IMG]

    yes sir

    forget the loafer comments [IMG]

    Danke, Gerd!

    Frighteningly yellow! [IMG]

Thanks! Felt like shocking myself into the weekend. Sorry you had an irritating day.

No, believe it or not it is actually a thick as thieves suit! I know my measurement very well and I can get them to come out pretty well. This one is made from left over Ralph Lauren fabric from a couple seasons ago that I bought up.
