I see what you mean, but I prefer brown (in this case beige) and blue to grey and blue. The beige makes it warmer and more interesting.

Edit: here's another example with brown(s):

I like this one more... but are you really sure you can resist the temptation of combining dark blue with grey? Go on, try it... [IMG]

Hehe. I only have one light grey summer jacket that could do the job. But it's ill-fitting, so no pictures, and you have to believe me when... I mean if I say the other jacket still looked a lot better.

I appreciate the sentiment--ad hominem was always a sentimental favorite--but back to his pulling-at-the-waist, bottom-button-thirty-degrees-from-top-button jacket. I really have nothing against well-tailored clothing. (At my size, there's no other option.) And overcompensation is natural. In the effort to wear clothes that fit, some guys will wind up with undersized clothing.

I think I'll turn this into my signature line.

I like your use of the cravate. You don't see them often but you pull the look off nicely.

you need spread collars. This collar is killing it, in a bad sense.

totally agree on that for this fit ... i left my cuff links in the US and have been too lazy to get one - so both yesterday and today i wore my suits with casual shirts with smaller collars. i know its not correct, but i dont think its "killing" the fit ... sheesh!

also saying i "need spread collars" makes it seem like i have no spread collars ... 90% or so of my dress shirts have spread collars.

This looks fantastic! How do you like your Caruso suit? I don't have any first-hand experience with them, but I saw a few online that I really liked.

I'll take that as a compliment, provisionally.
