Ah, see I was referencing this pair, which seem to be clearly Cheaney (sock liner, sole pattern, etc).

Not particularly. But I believe that is the current label.

This is a picture of a vintage shoe interior wall - does anyone recognize it, know the maker?[IMG]

Yeah I was thinking it was a lot like this one...only with the added care symbols at the bottom. This one was suggested to be Caruso as well, but there was never a definitive answer...that I could find.

    Thanks

That's the same label that's in the Albert Goldberg Faconnable jacket I thrifted last week. I was under the impression they were made by Cantarelli.

That's what this label is from too. I was on the fence on Caruso and Cantarelli...and it appears I still am.

I found a pair of black loafers that seem to be pretty nice. Hand made in Italy, sz 43. Can't quite make out the brand. It ends in "....NKSTEIN". Including some photos, but the brand is very hard to see, but you can get the general size & shape. It has a flat line above and below the brand, and a smaller row of lettering below the lower line.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Two quick questions....

    1) Brooks Brothers (made in Dominican Republic?? [IMG]) Never knew of such a thing. Are these from the outlet or something? Have a bunch of nails + 2 nails in the sole of the shoe...

    2) This label looks super familiar but can't place it. Looked at the back button and saw "Gucci", anyone know who made them for Gucci and what era...aka Tom Ford??

It's possible that they are Allen Edmonds. Don't recognize the heel, but AE does manufacture some of their shoes in the Dominican Republic.
