I recently picked up a RLBL suit off of B&S, and the fit/tag is completely different from the Caruso fit/tag I'm used to. To me it looks like a Cantarell tag, but I thought I'd ask. I didn't know RLBL changed makers.

    Hello!

Could anyone please identify the maker of an Italian made Brooks Brothers suit I have? It only has this tag in the pocket, "Made in Italy" printed on the collar loop, and a blue square "Brooks Brothers, Established 1818" label on the left breast pocket.

I believe they do not mark widths.

So this is a Ralph Lauren Purple Label shoe, made in England, cursive script... all of which I thought would be EG or GG, but it doesn't appear that it's made by either. Any ideas?

I think that this shoe was made by C&J and the sock liner piece had the cursive maybe during the period where they weren't solid on which firm they would use for the PL shoes and what the criteria was.

    It's C&J. Also, it's Polo not RLPL.

Found a pair of Jodhpur boots today. They are English made, but have been resoled recently, so I can't make out who made them the the sole. All it says is "Last 1978" and "Shoe No. R9843T". Any ideas who made them? The quality is exceptional.

Cheaney, the only English shoemaker that has both "last" and "shoe no." in the inner markings.

Anyone know this coat label? and if it matters, it's wool, polyammide, cashmere, viscose, respectively.

Found this tag in a sport coat for Carroll & Co. (high end mens store in LA) Is this just a store tag? Or can someone ID the maker?

    Thanks!

And Loake, or older models at least. Not sure if they qualify as an "English shoemaker" these days, though...

    An example here.
