I have come across Ede & Ravenscroft shoes with the marking:
Cadogan 2096/f, 29105 - 29107.
Does anybody know, who is the maker of the shoes (Grenson, Edward Green, Joseph Cheaney..)
These do not look to have been made by ourselves, we do apologise!

Kind regards

Dear Sir,

We can say with the utmost confidence that Edward Green did not make the shoes in the images you have provided.

Kind regards,

Robert

Writing looks similar to Alfred Sargent but I'm not 100% certain

I bought a vintage Kilgour RTW flannel suit online. It arrived today and I've not been able to find any tags that indicate any sort of origin or maker. These are the only two tags, save a very small black size tag that says "42" and nothing else.

The jacket fully canvassed with a lot of hand stitching, although internal side seams appear to be machine stitched. Buttonholes seem to be made by hand.

Any idea who could've made this and approximately how old it is? I've read that they've used a Shanghai workshop as well as D'avenza

I’d lay money on Cheaney as the maker based on the style of the gold writing on the waist and the look of the soles overall.

Just found some vintage alligator shoes made in Spain with only a logo inside. Can anyone identify this brand?
