Certainly it would be very useful if some of this vocabulary could make its way on to Wikipedia.

Well the names follow methods of construction, so in this case vocabulary follows function, which, I suppose is the fascinating thing about techncial vocabularies. So much of the detail, the million odd ways you can construct a garment, lives on in them.

This seemed like the most appropriate place to pose this question,

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start a thread that explains all the acronymns?

All I really know is

BoO is Band of Outsiders

and MTM is Made to Measure (I think. . .)

Anybody of the higher power around here know if this could be possible? It would be great!

What is OCBD? For example, I see BBBF OCBD... I assume that's Brooks Brothers Black Fleece, but I don't know what the OCBD refers to (Oxford Cotton Button Down?)
