HK Trip purchases - opinions please

I'm rather new to the world of suits, and I went on a five day shopping trip to Hong Kong. Picked up two suits and some shirts from Jantzen.

This first suit is from WW Chan. I was concerned 3-4 days wouldn't be enough for a quality product, so I e-mailed them in advance. Cost was US$1530 using Zegna Trofeo, not negotiated. Measured on first day, and then one fitting on each of the next three days. Finished in approximately 80 hours.

I am a first time Jantzen customer, so they measured me in the shop but the sleeves seem about 0.75 inch too long in my opinion; the sleeves on other shirts are about 0.5 inch even longer. Shirts were ready in one day. They only asked me about general fit, collar, cuffs, and pocket. The shop was busy so I felt a bit rushed; I forgot to mention monogram and other options.

I was hoping to solicit recommendations to improve fit for next time - or even alter the current product. Thanks.

I think the sleeve on the shirt is fine, at least for my tastes; I'd go for a slightly more fitted look if I was getting shirts made, but it's all down to personal tastes. Can't really say much about the suit because of the lighting.

In a way, the sleeves look too long by themselves, as one can see from the extra amount of cloth present, but together with the suit, the combination looks OK. If you're making jackets in Shanghai, the sleeves may have to be cut even longer, because the Mainland Chinese tailors tend to cut long jacket sleeves, almost to the base of the thumb! I suppose the Mainland Chinese prefer it that way because of the extreme amount of environmental polution all over Red China, plus the fact that it's not economical and good to dryclean woolen stuff too often.

Thanks for all of the feedback so far.

It appears I was not clear regarding the purchases. I had two suits made - one from WW Chan, and the other from "Cosmo Circle Custom Tailor"; the latter was more for a backup suit to keep in the office for unexpected occasions and it cost about 20% of the WW Chan suit. I did not purchase a suit at Jantzen, only shirts.

I went up to the Peak and also went to Ngong Ping to check out the big Buddha. Even spent a day/night in Macau. But I am a bit reluctant to admit that shopping the was primary focus of this trip...
