My car got wrecked, no fault of mine. I was sitting on the shoulder as the cop wrote up the guy that rear ended me and while this was being done, I got rammed into by a 3rd car pushing me into the concrete barrier and in the process wreckin my car.

Bad luck but Im pissed off as hell now. How do you go about getin a lawyer to represent you ? Any recommendations ?

couldn't resist. On a serious note, call an attorney asap. Crappy circumstances you've been handed. Keep this thread updated on how they determine who's at fault and how they assess the damage of the first accident.

Have you checked your insurance carrier? They my supply the lawyer, seeing how they may be paying you per your policy and need to recoup from the other drivers' insurance companies.

Hire a local personal injury attorney who spends his time with cases like yours.

Doesn't really sound like a personal injury case to me. He didn't say "my spine got wrecked" he said "my car got wrecked."

Sounds to me like he needs to call his insurance company more than he needs to call a lawyer.

DISCLAIMER: I am not giving you legal advice. You are not my client and I am not your attorney. Yada yada yada.
