The first few are silly comedies that I have rewatched numerous times, and have never grown stale.

Mystery Men
Out Cold
and to a lesser extent; Galaxy Quest

Others:
Låt den rätte komma in
The Man from Earth
SLC Punk

Im sure theres many more, but these are just from off the top of my head. In a world where Transformers 2 makes hundreds of millions, I fear for our arts.

Some are more unknown, some are more underrated. Some are both. I didn't bother to categorize them or I'd have been at it all night. I own all those movies. I would recommend that you netflix a few of them, or whatever it is you kids are doing these days.

the movie Once is something i ended up watching on a laptop on a long flight (in 2007). it was so good i ended up buying the real dvd just to support the makers of that movie.

sometimes piracy actually does help out. because i ended up following the main characters and going to their concerts after.

That was the first one. The Return had Heather Locklear and Sarah Douglas.

Is Darkman considered unknown or underrated?

I dunno. I know and rate it pretty highly.

I just thought of a good one. One of my favorites. Eyes Wide Shut. Not unknown, but I think, serially underrated.

For unknown comedies.

"The Education of Duddy Kravitz"

I think it was one of Richard Dreyfuss's early movies and it's relatively unknown and it's hilarious.

He can, he just usually refuses to do so.

Did you see Bad Liutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans? I liked it a lot, though I am a pretty big Herzog fan.
