Yeah... what's up with the Hollywood remake?

Uh... Welcome to 2006 homeboy. [IMG]

    It won four Oscars.

Haha... no seriously, I saw the Hollywood remake. What I meant was, what's with the remake? The ending was like, how shall I put it, too clean without the original's shades of grey. Anyway, Mark Wahlberg was good in it.

Walken's monologue about how "Creasy's art is death and that he would painting his masterpiece" is high art.

It overtook Payback as my favorite vengence film.

Defendor - with the glut of hero movies that have been coming out I think it addresses a reality to the endeavor. You would have be mildly retarded to put on a costume and try your hand at vigilantism. Plus Woody Harelson is superb as always.

Last Action Hero with Arnie is wayyyy underrated. I was shocked when i saw that i only gets a 5.9/10 on IMDB, its easily a 12/10-movie.

but seriously, i absolutely loved this movie. Maybe it was because i had very low to no expectations.

I think Harrelson has done his fair share of phoning in roles, but sometimes he's superb.

Brings back fond memories of the 80s. Diane Lane, Michael Pare, Amy Madigan, Willem DaFoe, Diane Van Valkenburg (from Too Close for Comfort). Very cool soundtrack, too.
