I will be Paris in 2 weeks and I was wondering if anyone had some advice on where to find high-quality menswear at low prices, and, or, on sale.

I think sales periods are set by law. The Frogs on the board can tell you when they start. Usually in January, I believe. There is an APC outlet-type store somewhere in Paris. There are also some discounters like La clef des marques and Mouton a cinq pattes, but they usually don't have anything good. There are outlets at the end of one of the RER lines but I wouldn't go there unless I had done and seen everything of interest in Paris already.

The French, as a general rule, don't dress exceedingly smart, too gaudy for my blood. With the exchange rate on the dollar, you can basically consider everything to be a 20-30% discount. Best menswear is to be found on the right bank near the Louvre on rue Saint HonorÃ

Most of it is still more expensive than in the States.
