I recently switched to some high-end patterned shirts (e.g. Turnbull and Asser) such as wide stripes and ginghams, there appears to be very small white 'dots' in the fabric in the colored portions of the shirt.
They are small, and are not noticeable to people when one wears the shirt.
Initially I thought these were due to laundy, but I have noticed this in the store on brand-new high-end shirts as well. They seem to be almost imperfections in the fabric. Has anyone noticed this before?
What is strange is that I don't find this on low-end shirts? Can someone explain what is going on?
Thanks.
