If he wants to paint the car to an Aston Martin or Bentley level of quality, he obviously cares. If he asked where to buy a can of spray paint to achieve this look, it would be obvious he doesn't.
He didn't specify that level of paint job quality, but simply that brand of paint, which is completely different. If someone wants the same material as a Tom Ford suit, that doesn't mean they're making a suit just as good. I've seen people take quality paint to Maaco (which I advise, actually).
The only cost-effective, sensible color change in the world is this: sell your car and buy one in a color you like. A quality color change is one where you can't tell what the original color was, which means disassembling the car, which is expensive.
