Hidetaka Fukaya (Il Miccio) for Tomorrowland Norwegian split toe Derby’s.

Colour is Burgundy Oxblood and metal toe taps professionally installed.

Size is 40.5 which is approx size 7 UK or 7.5 US

Worn a handful of times but wrong size for me.

Originally 118,000 yen or 1122 usd.

usually I'm not into italian split toe (vs the English dover kind), but this looks very very good

It is essentially based off one of his bespoke designs (photo below) and

And reinterpreted like this.

As you can see the last and shaping is extremely similar and workmanship is very neat and tidy.

Here are some photos of the trees to give an idea of the last they were made on. They’re probably one of the most distinctive shapes I’ve seen on a pair but roomy to be comfortable with arch support. It makes a lot of ready to wear shoes seem like a blob in comparison.
