Hidden inseam

I just got a pair of Acnes and they're an amazing wash....but there's a damn railroad down the inseam. I hate this! It goes decently well with the jeans and their classic feel due to the washes, but if I bought a pair of rigids or a lot of other washes the fact that the inseam seam shows would drive me nuts.

The 'railroad' is a defining mark of mommy and daddy jeans. Why the hell does a $300 pair of Acnes not have a hidden inseam?!

Most jeans have the "railroad" inseam. As a matter of fact, most $300+ brands have it.

Some washes are better with a button fly...some are better with a zipper. More 80's-esque inspired jean and washes would look weird with a button but better with a zipper.

Inseams are kinda like this but not always. It depends on the wash I guess.

normally railroads means the fading on the outside seam from the selvage (or non-selvage) fold.

No, I mean on the inner part of jeans. Sometimes the fabric is folded over and then stitched once down the seam and sometimes the fabric is almost welded together where the stitching is just kinda stacked and stitched on top of itself. I'll take a picture.

I'm confused as to why a small detail like this bothers you when you willingly purchase (and apparently extol) washed jeans.

Notice the way I can fold it because it's not stitched down and is held in place by a single stitch -- the white contrast stitching that's seen on the outside.
