Are all jackets in the Hickey line pretty much the same model, running pretty much the same size? I'm normally a 38, and have a 40 Hickey coat that fits me perfectly (other posters have commented that their stuff runs pretty slim, so I'm not surprised at this). I'm thinking of grabbing a few of the suits from the website, but want to make sure that a Hickey 40 is pretty much consistent across the line.

anyone have experience with multiple garments?

I ordered two suits last year and returned one. The sizing was very similar on both, but the shoulders were oddly different. One was too square, the other a little softer.

I tried on a bunch of jackets at a sample sale last year. It's possible that they were seconds or rejects, but there did seem to be a lot of variation in fit--especially the shoulders.

Also, I'm a 38R and found that their 40R fit like a 38S.

I think the Hickey I have was originally yours! It made its way through a feww owners on B&S before finally landing with me.

i've got several suits and sportcoats of theirs. i'm a fairly narrow and somewhat slim 38r, but i've got pretty broad shoulders which is where there 40 fits me well. the waist suppression is good, but keeps me from looking cartoonish. additionally, their 38 sleeves or fairly short if you're 5'9" or better.
